Deborah (Debi) Lynn Sightler, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, went on to be with her Lord and Savior on February 26, 2025, in Gaston, South Carolina, at the age of 63. She passed peacefully in her home surrounded by her family. She was born on April 20, 1961. She was preceded in death by her dad Joseph Raymond Stanley and her youngest son Ezekiel “Zechariah” Sightler.

Debi is survived by her devoted spouse, Anthony “Rocky” Sightler with whom she shared 29 wonderful years of love and happiness. Together, they raised a beautiful family of 11 children: Reggie Price (Mandy Price), Kelly Bryant (Randy Bryant), Tony Sightler (Felicia Sightler), Ashley Sightler, Meagan Brunink (Tage Brunink), Kaitlyn Greer, Joseph Sightler (Lilli Otten), Joel Sightler (Reagan Smith), Josiah Sightler (Sarah Nacouzi), and Ethan Sightler (Brianna Cook). Debi was also a proud, loving grandmother to 16 grandchildren; Sean, Logan, Ryleigh, Kelsie, Paislee, Alexus, McKenzie, Jayda, Tristan, Summer, Kirsten, Brayden, Logan, Brooklyn, Brynlee, and Hensleigh.

She accepted Christ as her Savior in 1996. She had a passion for teaching children’s church at New Hope Worship Center as well as serving as their Missions Director. She enjoyed sharing God’s word with others. Debi was a dedicated board member of the Gaston Ball Park where she also served as their treasurer where she volunteered her time for 30 years. She used her role at the ballpark as an opportunity to witness to others. She was always eager to share her love for Jesus and strongly believed in the power of prayer. Her favorite scripture was Phillipians 4:13, “I can do ALL THINGS through Christ who strengthens me”.

She was known for her kind heart, generous spirit, and unwavering commitment to those around her. She loved her family and enjoyed nothing more than planning their next gathering together.

Outside of her community work and spending time with her family, she had a passion for crafting. She found joy and relaxation in creating beautiful pieces of work that will be cherished by her loved ones for years to come.

Debi will be deeply missed by all who knew her but is now safe in the arms of Jesus.
