Collie L. Wood, lovingly known as JR, passed away unexpectedly on April 7, 2025, at the young age of 38. The family is deeply saddened and shocked by his sudden death. Jr. was born on December 17, 1986, and was the oldest of 3 kids. Jr lived in North, SC, in the home shared with his parents.

He was preceded by his father, Collie L. Wood. He is survived by his loving parents, Shelby Wood and Troy Strickland, two sisters, Mary and Ashley, one brother, Jamie, and three nieces. He is also survived by his daughter, Melissa, and his granddaughter, Natalie. His love for his family was unwavering, and he will forever be cherished and remembered by his family and friends.

One of his proudest and happiest moments were when he became a dad and grand dad. He enjoyed fishing, watching his favorite football team (GAMECOCKS), and face-timing with his daughter and granddaughter. He loved to sing, and his favorite artists were Kane Brown and Jelly Roll. One of his favorite songs he loved to walk around and singing was "Heaven" by Kane Brown.
